System Of A Down have added a third night at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, on 10 June 2027, with Gojira as special guests. The announcement came on Friday 23 October, the same day the presale opened for the first show.
“`The first night, on 5 June, had been announced earlier with Pierce The Veil. A second followed on 6 June, and a few hours later the third. The band have not announced any other North American appearances for 2027.
The general sale for all three nights opens on Monday 26 October at 10 a.m. Pacific. Anyone registered for the 5 June presale by Wednesday 21 October has access to all three dates.
These are their first shows in the Los Angeles area since the two 2022 appearances at Banc of California Stadium. Before the Rose Bowl, the band closes the Sick New World festival in Fort Worth, Texas, on 24 and 25 October 2026 — as happened with Korn.
The first show was confirmed after a campaign in Los Angeles: the band’s logo appeared on billboards and projections, and their site carried a countdown. Daron Malakian has spoken in the past about the band’s relationship with playing live.
Serj Tankian meanwhile keeps up his own collaborations — he recently joined Tom Morello on stage for «Like A Stone». 2027 already has European festivals booked, such as Rock For People in Czechia.
