Arcus, the nameless masked act tied to the recent row around Sleep Token, have released a video for their new single «Rebirth». The track went up on their channel and is available below.
“`The release came a few days after Sleep Token posted a short statement on social media, making clear that they have nothing to do with outside acts that have appeared lately and hinted at some connection to them.
Arcus turned up without names, without faces and without a label announcement. They work the pattern the genre has made familiar in recent years: masks, pseudonyms and the least possible contact with the press. The naming echoes the Sleep Token universe strongly, whose II signed with Kobalt.
The video is available on their channel. No date has been announced for a record, nor whether the material will come out in physical form.
Of the members, the singers Soma Leith, Obsidian and Eupheryx have been identified so far, along with guitarist and singer Istarion. About five more musicians of the project remain unknown, as do the faces behind the masks.
The project first appeared in September with a teaser video on YouTube and was promoted as an act coming from an associate of Sleep Token. After the statement of the British band and the reaction of the public, Arcus removed the related references from their accounts. Some speak of a figure who had worked in Sleep Token management in the past, something that was never confirmed by either side.
Sleep Token, meanwhile, have stayed silent. They were last seen live on 11 October 2025 at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, while «Even In Arcadia» from May 2025 reached No. 1 on both the Billboard 200 and the British charts. They have announced neither a tour nor a follow-up record.
