Serre has a new album, «Amen», which features guests Scott Ian (Anthrax), Trey Spruance (Mr. Bungle) and Mike Leon (CKY, formerly Soulfly). He describes the record as darker than its predecessors, with a heavy, imposing tone, and notes that he recorded a real choir in a church, alongside more colourful tracks such as «Blastbeat Falafel».
Since signing to Metal Blade in 2017, the name Igorrr has grown from one man’s pseudonym into the identity of a full band, with Gautier always at the core. The previous album, 2020’s «Spirituality And Distortion», reached No. 12 on the German chart.
