A 13-year-old fan named Lathan joined Limp Bizkit on stage on 11 October 2026 and played «Full Nelson» with them at The Truth in Nashville, Tennessee. Lathan had come to the show holding a sign that read «I am 13, Full Nelson» and the band invited him up.
“`How he ended up on stage
Before the song began, frontman Fred Durst jokingly scolded the child’s father for bringing him to such music. Fan-shot video shows Lathan playing the song with the band and copying several of Durst’s moves on stage.
A song from 2000
«Full Nelson» appears on Limp Bizkit’s third album, «Chocolate Starfish And The Hot Dog Flavored Water», released in October 2000, more than a decade before Lathan was born.
The show was the first of two Limp Bizkit nights at The Truth, a new Live Nation venue that opened in Nashville this year. The band was scheduled to return to the same stage on 12 October 2026.
The growing audience
The shows arrive as interest in Limp Bizkit keeps growing among younger audiences. In June, guitarist Wes Borland said the band is bigger now than at any point in its career. In August, «Rollin’» became their second song to pass one billion streams on Spotify, after «Break Stuff».
Limp Bizkit have also returned to the studio for their first album sessions since the death of bassist Sam Rivers in October 2025. Next year they will open for Metallica on a 12-stadium run of the «M72 World Tour» across North America, alongside Avatar.
