Sepultura will play one more club show before closing their career. The band have announced «The Last Ceremony», an appearance at Cine Joia in São Paulo on Thursday 5 November 2026, just two days before their final live show.

Cine Joia is in the Liberdade district of the Brazilian city and holds around 1,000 people, far fewer than the venue of the finale. Doors open at 20:30, there will be no support, and the show is over-18s only. Tickets are sold via Shotgun.

In a message, Sepultura wrote that before their last concert they would gather for one more night, inviting people to become part of the «ceremony».

The final live show will take place on Saturday 7 November 2026 at Suhai Music Hall in São Paulo, with Krisiun, Sacred Reich and Metal Allegiance as support. The concert was originally scheduled for Mercado Livre Arena Pacaembu, a stadium of about 26,000, but in September 2026 it was moved to Suhai Music Hall, capacity 9,000. No explanation was given for the change; tickets already bought remain valid, while those who can’t come get their money back.

Former members Jean Dolabella and Jairo Guedz are also expected to take part. Whether founders Max and Iggor Cavalera ever had a proper offer remains disputed. In March, guitarist Andreas Kisser told Metal Hammer that they had invited the Cavalera brothers and that he himself spoke with Iggor, but that they didn’t want to take part. Max’s wife and manager, Gloria Cavalera, denied it the same day, saying no one had contacted them.

Sepultura announced on 8 December 2023 that they were stopping after one last world tour. «Celebrating Life Through Death» began on 1 March 2024 at Arena Hall in Belo Horizonte, the city where the band formed in 1984. Drummer Eloy Casagrande left shortly before the tour and was replaced by Greyson Nekrutman, who completes the line-up alongside Kisser, singer Derrick Green and bassist Paulo Jr. In April they released their final recordings, the four-track EP «The Cloud Of Unknowing».
