Review
Scordatura return with Led Into Oblivion, a record that hits non-stop from the first note to the last. The band opens with a short, dark intro and immediately the assault begins: stop-start thrash riffs, fast tremolos, sick bends, palm-muted chugs and a mix that lets the bass come forward at crucial points. The material is full of energy, with constant rhythmic shifts and grooves that force you to nod your neck.
Tam on drums is storming: blastbeats, double kicks, d-beats and mid-tempo blows when needed. Daryl on vocals uses fast, dense growls, with a speed that at points recalls Archspire. The band does not chase technical excesses; here the weight falls on violence, on groove, and on neckbreaking thrash-death.

The top track of the record is “A Manic Indoctrination”: sick bouncy riffs, palm-muted chugathons, whammy dive-bomb solo, breakdowns and bass that breathes in the mix. It is the track that perfectly sums up the album’s style — fast, violent, catchy and made for headbanging.
Led Into Oblivion is a record that never relaxes. Thrashy, brutal, full of energy and with riffs that stay in your head. For those who love death metal with thrash intensity and dirty groove, this release is ideal.
