Review
Scordatura return with Led Into Oblivion, an album that strikes nonstop from the first to the last note. The band opens with a short, dark intro and immediately the assault begins: stop‑start thrash riffs, fast tremolos, sick bends, palm‑muted chugs and a mix that lets the bass come forward at key points. The material is full of energy, with constant rhythmic shifts and grooves that force you to move your neck.
Tam on drums is thunderous: blastbeats, double kicks, d‑beats and mid‑tempo hits when needed. Daryl on vocals uses fast, dense growls, with a speed that at points recalls Archspire. The band doesn’t chase technical excess; here the weight falls on the violence, the groove, and the neckbreaking thrash‑death.

The album’s top track is “A Manic Indoctrination”: sick bouncy riffs, palm‑muted chugathons, a whammy dive‑bomb solo, breakdowns and bass that breathes in the mix. It’s the track that perfectly sums up the album’s style — fast, violent, catchy and made for headbanging.
Led Into Oblivion is an album that never lets up. Thrashy, brutal, full of energy and with riffs that stay in your head. For those who love death metal with thrash intensity and dirty groove, this release is ideal.
