Suicide Silence released «Reminders Of Hell», the third song from their new album «Graceless», on Thursday 22 October, together with a video in which drummer Ernie Iniguez plays the track.

It is the third taste of the record, after the title track «Graceless» and «Make Your Exit». The album had been announced in September, when the first song also came out.

The band from California explained the difference between the three tracks in their own words: «Graceless» is heavy, «Make Your Exit» is more direct, and «Reminders Of Hell» goes deeper, with more dimensions in the composition.

«Graceless» comes out on 20 November through Century Media and is their eighth record, the first after «Remember… You Must Die» in 2023. Production is shared by Austin Coupe, known for work with The Devil Wears Prada and Thousand Below, and Hunter Young.

«Reminders Of Hell» is the eighth of the eleven tracks on the record. It is also the first work with guitarist Chris Garza fully involved in the writing, after his return in July — a change that had occupied the band before as well, as had also been clear in the temporary line-up change.

Suicide Silence remain one of the names that brought deathcore to the forefront, with a sound that moves between the brutal and the more melodic, and that is why every new album of theirs counts for the scene — as is also clear from the way their work is discussed in conversations about politics in music.

Ernie Iniguez has been on drums since 2022 and the video for «Reminders Of Hell» is essentially his own performance, filmed to show the work behind the track. The band still has a tour of the US with stops through December.
