Nordjevel have unveiled «Unbound in Death», the first single from their fourth album «Damnous», along with an official video. It is also their first release for Underground Activists, the Season of Mist imprint.

«Damnous» comes out on December 11 and «Unbound in Death» is one of its fastest and most intense tracks, with Doedsadmiral’s voice up front. According to the tracklist, the album includes O’Silent Hell, Funeral Prayer, Unbound in Death, Gospel of Wounds, Damnous, Violence Is Wisdom, Avgrunnsnatt, Starving Worms, Final Flesh and Pits of the Cold Beyond.

The lyrics move through Doedsadmiral’s familiar themes — war, death, anti-Christianity and Norse mythology — split between Norwegian and English. Guitars, bass and guest vocals were recorded at Studio Nyhagen with engineer Kjartan Hesthagen, while the mixing and mastering were done at Studio Fredman by Fredrik Nordström, who had also handled the previous album «Gnavhòl». The artwork is by Khaos Diktator Design and the photography by Necrolust Productions, while the video was directed by Claudio Marino for Artax Film.

Nordjevel formed in Askim, Norway in 2015 around Doedsadmiral. With the arrival of guitarist Destructhor (formerly of Morbid Angel, Myrkskog, Zyklon) their sound left behind the melodic debut with folk elements and became denser and closer to death metal. They have toured Europe with Taake and later with Aeternus, and have appeared at Inferno, Wacken, Hellfest, Bloodstock, Maryland Deathfest and Brutal Assault.

In the spring of 2027 they return to Europe for the previously announced Incantation Tour 2027, with support from Svarttjern, Malphas and Unviâr. The twelve shows start on March 24 in Warsaw and close on April 4 in Colmar, passing through Poland, Germany, Belgium, Britain, the Netherlands, Switzerland and France.
