Born From Lie formed in Paris in 2014 and are back with «Into Madness», which arrives digitally on 6 November 2026. It is the band’s return after the split and the Jirfiya years.
“`Country: France
Genre: Melodic metal / heavy metal
For fans of: melodic metal with darker guitars
The group had released three albums through Brennus Music, all built around the darker side of human nature. After «The New World Order Part 1» came the break-up, with members Jérôme and Pascal forming Jirfiya alongside singer Ingrid Denis.
Once Jirfiya had run their course, Jérôme Thellier decided to bring Born From Lie back to life. The first taste of the new record is «Our Darkest Hour», which looks at war from the side of those left behind — mothers watching their children leave for a war that makes no sense.
The band moves between melodic rock, heavy metal and more aggressive influences. Listeners who follow that melodic strain have two close points of comparison in Hyperion’s «Elysia» and The Heritance’s «Fear of Collision».
The album is available for pre-order on Bandcamp. More: Facebook and YouTube.
