Luppolo in Rock returns to Parco Colonie Padane in Cremona from 16 to 18 July 2027, with 22 names already announced: Emperor, Samael, Asphyx, Virgin Steele, Freedom Call, Master and more. It is the Italian festival that bills itself as «the Italians’ favourite», staged beside the Po river in a 60-hectare park at the southern edge of the city.

Which airport works for you
The park sits at the southern edge of Cremona, next to the Po, and the historic centre is about 30 minutes on foot. By car the city lies on the A21: take the Cremona exit coming from the north, Castelvetro from the south. From Greece the most convenient airports are in Milan — Bergamo (97 kilometres, about 70 minutes) or Linate (93 kilometres) — and Verona (108 kilometres).

Where to stay
Cremona is the obvious base: you reach the festival on foot or by bike, since the park connects to the EuroVelo 9 cycle route. Milan, about 90 kilometres away, has far more options if you want to pair the festival with the city.
Camping
The festival has its own camping area inside the park, in the shade, with free toilets and paid showers, a bar open 24 hours and pitches for campervans nearby. The organisers also offer pre-pitched two-person tents with a mattress, set up before you arrive: for the 2026 edition they cost 100 euros for five nights (Thursday to Monday) and there were only 50 — booked by form and bank transfer. Tickets and timetable
Tickets go through Liveticket and the organisers also sell packages with a hotel in Cremona, breakfast and a free shuttle through their partner Breakdown Tours — useful if you do not want a tent. Prices and timetables keep changing until the summer, so check the official announcements before you book.
