Slipknot stamped their logo on London’s sky with a drone show, wanting to advertise the 2027 «(sic)est Stadium Tour». Tickets for the tour went on general sale on Friday 2 October.

The video of the spectacle, in which the drones formed the band’s logo high above the city, is already online and you can watch it below.

The tour opens on 3 July 2027 with Slipknot’s biggest headline show in Britain so far, at Wembley Stadium in London, where the support will be Marilyn Manson, Lorna Shore and Hatebreed. The North American leg runs from 16 July in Washington to 18 August in Phoenix, with Bring Me The Horizon as the main support at every show, while South America follows in September 2027 with Marilyn Manson and Hatebreed opening all five shows, among them an appearance at The Town festival in São Paulo.

The announcement came after a campaign that began with posters bearing the Tribal S logo and a teaser site with a countdown to 28 September, while several of the tour’s stadiums had begun to drop hints. To celebrate the announcement, Slipknot organised events for fans at Wembley Stadium and SoFi Stadium, with early access to tickets and merchandise.

Slipknot are currently recording their eighth studio album with producer Matt Wallace, which is expected during 2027 and will be the first release on their own label, (sic)est Records. Guitarist Jim Root has said the band is trying different approaches and recording parts live in the studio with drummer Eloy Casagrande, while he has described the previous 2022 album, «The End, So Far», as fragmentary and chaos.

On 9 September Slipknot released «Arsenal», their first new music in more than three years. It was the first studio recording with Eloy Casagrande and the first release after Sid Wilson’s departure in August, while Root has said it is a standalone single that will not be on the new album.
