When and how

BMG and Rhino Entertainment will put it out on November 6 in the US and on December 4 in the rest of the world, on CD and on clear blue vinyl.

What it contains

The collection first came out in 1998, two years after the band’s divorce from Sebastian Bach. Its 16 tracks range from the 1989 debut and “Slave To The Grind” from 1991, which reached number 1 in the US, to “Subhuman Race” from 1995, and all have been remastered.

Along with “Youth Gone Wild”, “18 And Life” and “I Remember You”, the edition includes a 1991 demo of “Fire In The Hole”, a 1994 demo of “Frozen”, remixed versions of “Into Another”, “My Enemy” and “Breakin’ Down”, and a live recording of “Beat Yourself Blind” from London’s Astoria in 1995.

Still without a singer

The anniversary comes while the band is still without a permanent singer. In February they announced worldwide auditions together with Sweetwater, with no deadline, saying it is not a contest but a genuine search for the right voice. By the end of August they had reviewed more than 425 submissions and had kept four to five candidates. The spot has been open since March 2024, when Erik Grönwall left.
