Great White guitarist Mark Kendall says the band has recorded enough material with singer Brett Carlisle and that it may start coming out soon.
In his interview with Cameron Buchholtz of “Rock 100.5 The KATT”, Kendall said the recordings are being done at the studio of a friend of his, Tracy G, who played guitar in Dio for about seven years and specifically on “Strange Highways” and “Angry Machines”. Carlisle went there about four times and the material collected is now enough to release.
One song at a time
The plan is not a whole record at once. As he explained, they are thinking of putting out one track at a time, with a video, because that’s how music works now. They may record a full album, but the release will happen gradually.
If anything comes out of these recordings, it will be Great White’s first studio work with Carlisle on vocals. Their last record, “Full Circle”, is from 2017.

At the concerts
Asked whether the new songs fit into a setlist full of hits, Kendall answered that the band always does it the same way: they play one or two new tracks and don’t fill the concert with the whole record. They did the same, he says, even in their good years.
