“`He was joined on stage by a full band, singers and his teenage son, Roman. The appearance was on the occasion of the release of his first solo rock album, «Everyone Gets Everything They Want», out on Mom + Pop Music.
The album, released on 25 September, is an important step in Morello’s solo career. Tyler Smyth, Carl Restivo, Zakk Cervini, Dan Carey and Sam Nelson Harris took part in the production, while guests also appear on the record, such as Serj Tankian of System of a Down, Beartooth and Kneecap.

In a career that runs through Rage Against the Machine, Audioslave and his acoustic solo work as The Nightwatchman, Morello always marries his guitar with intense political action. That mood does not stay in the studio: he organises rallies, concerts and events for social justice, workers’ rights and immigrants’ rights.
His next stop is «Power To The People», the festival he curates and hosts, sold out, on Saturday 3 October at the Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia, Maryland. It is a one-day celebration of peace, solidarity, music and collective action, with a wide variety of artists and activists.
