Genre: Death metal, gothic metal
For fans of: Rotting Christ, Necromantia, Nightfall The change is obvious from the first listen: the sound clears up, the tempos rise and the band turns toward gothic metal, keeping the keyboards and samplers at the center. The recording was done at Studio Fredman, the same studio where their following albums would later be made, with the lyrics and music credited to Sotiris Vayenas. The album’s title looks toward technology and the future, a theme rare for the era and for the Greek scene. In 2005 it came out again in a special “Red Box” edition, while the track “Revolution” was one of those that stayed in their live set. Our take It is the album where Septic Flesh changed skin without losing their identity: more modern, more melodic, but still dark. A few years later they would embark on a much bigger adventure.
