The video of Black Sabbath‘s «Paranoid», as played by Corey Taylor, Geezer Butler, Nuno Bettencourt and Matt Sorum, has been released — along with Bad Company’s «Rock ‘n’ Roll Fantasy», with Paul Rodgers on vocals.
Both clips come from «Sound & Vision Live», the concert filmed at the first Palm Springs Sound & Vision Awards, at the Plaza Theatre, on March 2, 2026. The footage was handled by Harry Reese and the material includes moments from the rehearsals at GoodNoise Studio and the venue’s soundcheck.
The night honored Butler and Rodgers and raised money for the Adopt The Arts Foundation, the charity Sorum founded with actress Jane Lynch in 2012. It funds music education in public elementary schools in Los Angeles and the Coachella Valley and, according to the foundation itself, now reaches more than 4,000 students a year.
The whole concert was released as «Sound & Vision Live», a limited-edition double vinyl produced by Sorum. The first LP has songs by Bad Company and Free, the second has Black Sabbath tracks. Taylor sings «Paranoid» and «War Pigs» with Butler on bass, while Lzzy Hale takes on «Symptom Of The Universe» and «Neon Knights».
Also on stage were Glenn Hughes, Charlie Starr, Phil X, Steve Stevens, Robert DeLeo, Stevie Salas, Mike Mangan and Paul Ill, all for free. The artwork and liner notes are by photographer Glen Wexler, the recording was done by Kemble Walters and Miguel Sosa, the mixing by Walters and the mastering by Howie Weinberg and Will Borza. It’s released through Experience Vinyl.
Sorum has said the record wasn’t planned — he recorded the night to preserve the experience and, when he listened back, realized he had something worth keeping on his hands, with the proceeds going to music education.
