On July 24, 2026, the Greek brutal death metallers Cleavercult released their second studio album “A Throne Made by Human Parts” via Khaoszophy Productions. The album is a more extreme, faster and more brutal continuation of their debut, “Salvation Is the Cleaver” (2022), showing clearly that the band is leveling up in intensity and creativity.
Creation & Recording
The album’s title was the idea of guitarist Nikk, who is also the band’s main composer. The writing process started from there, with Nikk and Valantis working step‑by‑step on the music and the lyrics.
The band describes the recording as an enthusiastic and absolutely creative process, with the final result fully satisfying them. The new album is, as they themselves say:
– stronger – faster – more brutal
constituting a natural evolution of their sound.
Cover Art
The cover was designed by Giannis Nakos (Remedy Art Design) and, as the band notes, “symbolizes the exact name of the album” — a raw, physical and violent depiction that fits the content perfectly.
Lyrical Themes
The album’s lyrics were written by Valantis and revolve around:
– bullying – serial killers – blood – violence
The themes stay faithful to the brutal death metal style, with rawness and extreme imagery.
