Urban Spine, the heavy/thrash metal act from Luxembourg, present their first full‑length album “Cruelty by Design”, a raw, unpolished and absolutely honest statement of heavy music. The album was released on May 23, 2026 as an independent self‑released production, with a physical CD available and vinyl to follow by the end of September.
The style of Urban Spine
Urban Spine combine: – aggressive thrash riffs – modern heavy metal elements – dynamic grooves – melodic hooks – fierce, raw live energy
The band recently stood out at the Luxembourg Metal Battle, thanks to its dynamic stage presence and interaction with the audience.
“Cruelty by Design” isn’t a product of trends or algorithms — it’s an album made of pressure, frustration, energy and pure passion for heavy music. As the band puts it: Raw. Honest. Heavy. No compromise. No plastic. No bullshit.
