The Pretty Reckless release their new single “Love Me” | Metal Territory

« Love Me » is the third single from Pretty Reckless‘ highly anticipated fifth album, «Dear God», which will be released by Fearless Records on June 26, according to Blabbermouth . The song arrives as the band is ready to launch its 2026 world tour. Pretty Reckless continue to build on that path with « Love Me », a bold, emotionally charged song that combines Taylor Momsen’s recognizable powerful vocals with their signature explosive guitar work and a harsh edge. The song, which was produced by Momsen, guitarist Ben Phillips and Jonathan Wyman, features a sound that is simultaneously refined and powerful, intensifying their intensity even further.

«Dear God» delves into vulnerability, intensity and creative freedom following the debut of its album with «When I Wake Up », which is currently at No. 10 on the Mediabase Active Rock chart and reached No. 16 on the Billboard Mainstream Rock last week. This results in one of the band’s most unpretentious and uncompromising releases to date. The album, which was written with a candor that recalls a diary, portrays Pretty Reckless in their most unpretentious form. Momsen commented on this while referring to the song.

«Love Me» came from a place I didn’t want to admit I was in. There’s that moment in your life where you’re so empty that you start bargaining with God, not even for happiness, just for proof that someone sees you. That’s this song. It isn’t pretty. It isn’t wrapped up. It’s just a raw, ugly need and I think that’s exactly why people connect with it.
