Another piece from The Amity Affliction‘s upcoming album, “House of Cards”, has been released, according to theprp. The music video for their latest single, “Bleed“, which was directed by Daniel Daly, can be seen below. This new song is partly inspired by social media interactions, according to singer Joel Birch.
This song is kind of a “fuck you” to the people online who leave comments like they know me personally or like they know something about what’s going on in my life, and a reminder to myself that I’m not obligated to that idea and I’m the person I know I am. “I bleed like I bleed…” is my way of saying I am what I am, not what I’m perceived to be by people who don’t actually know me and have formed or projected an idea of me through social media.
