Hot Sunday Blood are an Italian band, formed in Turin in 2013. In their early stages, their sound
is inspired by alternative rock music, with influences from heavy rock. Each member of the band influences
the sound in his own unique way, coming from different backgrounds such as metal, stoner,
grunge, black metal, prog and new wave. The band loves to define itself as “plug and play”.
This means that all you need to do is plug in the instruments and start playing, the ideas for new songs
“flow immediately”.
Over the years, their sound shifted to a more distinctive imprint and the
introduction of light electronic support with a turn towards alternative and industrial sound.
The lyrics are mostly in English, with the electronic elements dictating the melodies and the solid guitar riffs
supporting them. These are recurring elements typical of their songs, which gain depth through
the voice of Andrea Amerini.
With three complete albums and more than a hundred concerts behind them, in July 2018 the HSB
opened for Doyle on his European tour date in Turin.
In May 2019 they organized a mini promo tour in Romania, Croatia and Slovenia.
The HSB appeared abroad again in 2023 at the Ostrava V Plamenech Festival and as support
for Farthest Outpost’s European tour.
In 2024 they appeared three times for the Emergenza Live festival in Turin, reaching the
final round at Hiroshima Mon Amour in Turin.
In 2025 the HSB appeared again in Italy at Balkan Metal Meeting in Bologna and abroad at
the Fajtfest festival in the Czech Republic, at Balkan Metal Meeting in Hungary.
