Krushya – DooMinion | Extreme Metal from Patras | metalterritory

Genre: Death / Thrash / Grindcore (Extreme Metal)

Country: Greece (Patras)

For fans of: Death, Slayer, Napalm Death, Misery Index, Revocation

DooMinion is built on a dystopian vision in which humanity bends under a new, harsh dogma. The album describes the rise of a ruthless regime based on manipulation, fear, violence and absolute control. Its themes revolve around the abuse of power, religious pressure, technological dominance and the psychological warfare waged by those who rule through corruption and destruction.

After presenting the single “Unholy Trinity” — with Krzysztof Klingbein (Vader / Belphegor) on drums — and following “The Pack” and “Destructive Alien Tech (Contact)”, Krushya from Patras have released their new full-length “DooMinion”. The album continues the band’s dystopian narrative and is the direct follow-up to “.Dogma.” (2021), this time through 12 tracks of extreme, aggressive and uncompromising music.

“DooMinion” is Krushya’s most complete and dynamic work to date. Their sound unites death metal, thrash, grindcore and hardcore elements, with old-school intensity, groove-driven drumming and a vocal approach that moves between brutal, harsh and grind expressions. The result is an album that hits directly, without filtering, and clearly shows the band’s evolution.

The album is also available on Bandcamp, Spotify and all  digital platforms.

A few words about Krushya

Krushya are an extreme metal act from Patras, with a sound that unites death, thrash and grindcore into a groove-driven, raw and direct result. The band started in 2000 and quickly entered the live scene, which led them in 2002 to their first self-produced demo — the beginning of a DIY path they follow to this day.

Their first official album, “Ashta”, was recorded in 2004–2005 at DB Studio in Patras, again fully self-funded, showing early on that Krushya operate independently and without compromise. In 2007 a live recording at Parartima followed, one of the city’s most historic underground venues.

In 2010 they released “Collectivo”, a limited collector’s edition that captured their evolution and strengthened their position in the Greek extreme metal scene.

After a period of writing and renewal, Krushya returned in 2021 with the promo single “Curse of Death”, paving the way for the full-length “.Dogma.”, which was released independently and later on CD via Narcoleptica Productions. With 5+2 tracks and several guests, the album showed a more mature and expanded side of the band.

In 2023 they entered the studio again and started their new cycle. The first sample was the single “Unholy Trinity”, released in September 2024 with Krzysztof Klingbein (Vader / Belphegor) on drums — the official forerunner of the next album.

The follow-up came in 2026 with the singles “The Pack” and “Destructive Alien Tech (Contact)”, presenting two different sides of the upcoming DooMinion and steadily building Krushya’s new, more aggressive hybrid extreme metal style.
