The band builds its sound on heavy riffs, dark melodies and raw vocal intensity, creating a hybrid aimed at fans of Septicflesh, Dark Tranquillity, Rotting Christ, Insomnium and Graveworm.

An album inspired by myths, gods and human conflicts

“When Gods Walked The Earth” consists of ten compositions moving between ancient narratives and modern existential themes. Ka’aper explore:

the clash of life and death
betrayal and redemption
eternity and the ephemeral
human decadence through mythological symbolism

The record balances between explosions of aggression and atmospheric passages, creating a journey that feels like a descent into ancient temples and forgotten stories.

Mixing and mastering were handled by Max Baryshnikov, giving the album clarity, depth and imposing volume.

Comment: Cypriot Melodic Death Metal. Their first full album, “While Flows the Nile”, was already wonderful, but this is on an entirely new level… 🙂 This is even better, as Yoma already pointed out 🖤! The melodies are more complex and Julia Selikhova’s vocals on “Lament for Osiris” add a completely haunting new level of intensity to the mix… 🙂 FFO Dark Tranquillity & the like. Another excellent addition to Satanath’s incredibly impressive roster! I recommend it unreservedly!!!
Favourite track: Lament for Osiris.
