Doro Pesch will release «Wild At Heart» on December 11, a nine-track special release. The reason most of it was written in recent weeks is a practical one: she wanted fresh material for the tour that starts the same day.
The first single, «Rock You 2 Death», is already available with a video shot in Sweden and footage from Wacken Open Air. «The new songs on “Wild At Heart” are all close to my heart, many were written in recent weeks», she explained. «I wanted new songs ready for the tour, ones that ignite both on the album and on stage».
She herself placed the song next to two of her most tried-and-tested live tracks: «It’s a sing-along anthem, very much in the vein of “We Are The Metal Heads” and “Raise Your Fist In The Air”. And it will go down great on stage». On what changes in the setlist, she added: «I’m immediately adding two or three new tracks that will go over well with the crowd».
The album closes with a live rendition of «Touch Of Evil» with Alissa White-Gluz, who left Arch Enemy in November 2025 after twelve years. Lauren Hart was announced as Arch Enemy’s new singer in February 2026, while White-Gluz formed Blue Medusa and in May joined DragonForce as second lead singer.
