Where I Am the Chalice, Be Thou the Blood is the third full-length album by the Polish blackened death metal band Devilpriest, released on June 27, 2025 by Nuclear Winter Records.
About the Album
- Sound: It combines the technical yet “barbaric” death metal of the early ’90s with strong black metal elements.
- Themes: The album delves into concepts of satanic enlightenment and the “left-hand path”. It is described as a meditative journey into absolute darkness, centered on control of body and spirit through untamed will.
- Production: Recording took place in the winter of 2024/2025, while mixing and mastering were done at the renowned No Solace studio.
