I Am Morbid, featuring former Morbid Angel members David Vincent and Pete Sandoval, are the headliners and will play material from Morbid Angel‘s first four albums: “Altars Of Madness” (1989), “Blessed Are The Sick” (1991), “Covenant” (1993) and “Domination” (1995).

Atheist come in as direct support and are celebrating 35 years since their second album, “Unquestionable Presence”. British band Cancer are doing the same for their own second record, “Death Shall Rise”, which also turns 35. The first half of the tour is opened by Nar**tic Wasteland and the second by Stellvris.

I Am Morbid have toured with “Morbidfest” before, in 2019, 2022 and 2023. The 2022 tour, marking 30 years of “Blessed Are The Sick”, was the first time in 12 years that Vincent and Sandoval played together, while in 2023 they played the whole of “Covenant” for its 30th anniversary. Vincent has trimmed the set down to songs he wrote himself during his time in Morbid Angel, with guitarists Bill Hudson and Richie Brown.

Among the stops are Drachten and Dordrecht in the Netherlands, Kortrijk in Belgium, Berlin, Copenhagen, Košice and Ostrava, while in December the tour passes through Zurich, Nuremberg, Leipzig and Prague.
