“Social Apocalypse” premiered on SiriusXM before going online, directed by Chris Wade. Matt Tuck says the record came from looking at the state of the world through a parent’s eyes: everything is changing very fast, it’s hard to find anything positive, people are turning against each other and the world is filling up with conflict instead of unity. As a father, he looks at what the world is like for younger people and how different it has become.

The production was handled again by Carl Bown, with whom they have now made four records, including the self-titled one from 2021. “Carl doesn’t let you rest on your laurels,” says Tuck.

Two guests appear on the record: Will Ramos of Lorna Shore on “I Don’t Trust Tomorrow” and Chrissy Costanza of Against The Current on “In The Absence Of You”. The tracklist:

In The Absence Of You (with Chrissy Costanza)
I Don’t Trust Tomorrow (with Will Ramos)

Pre-orders for the regular and deluxe vinyl editions, along with a signed CD, begin on Monday, September 28 from the band’s page. Their biggest tour so far was also announced, which will pass through Britain and Europe with support from Pendulum and Dark Divine. The first dates are January 21 in Lisbon, 22 in Madrid, 23 in Barcelona, 25 in Milan, 26 in Zurich, 27 in Dusseldorf, 29 in Hamburg and 30 in Copenhagen.

The announcement came after a silent teaser: on September 15 the band cleared out their Instagram and then posted a piece of the artwork each day with a new phrase.
