Innerverse continue promoting their debut record titled “Awakenings”, releasing the first lyric video of their career. It’s for the track “The Promise”, a composition that holds a special place on the album, as it is the sole exception to the record’s instrumental character, featuring the vocals of Vasilis Marantos.
The listeners’ wish came true
The warm response from the audience and the praise for Marantos’s performance led the band to decide to showcase the track further. Through the new lyric video, Innerverse unfold the song’s lyrical concept, which touches a sensitive chord: the inner commitment and a man’s promise to his beloved to stay strong and take care of himself, even when their paths have already parted.
Between melody and emotion
“The Promise” manages to combine Innerverse’s atmospheric approach with a heavily charged performance, creating a bridge between the technical sound of “Awakenings” and raw human expression.
