Debut album release & release show
Dismiss, the Athens rock ‘n’ roll five-piece, present their first full album titled “Funeral Fund”, which is released on May 21, 2026 on all digital platforms and on CD.
The band, active since 2021, has shaped a sound that unites classic rock references, punk energy and modern alt elements, creating an explosive mix that defines their live shows. “Funeral Fund” captures this identity in the most direct and personal way.
An album written on the edge
The album reflects a period of intensity and internal pressure for the band — a phase where everything seemed to hang by a thread, before balance was finally found again. Without being a concept album, most of the songs revolve around the experience of coming of age, of changes and of the decisions that shape you.
As Dismiss state: “’Funeral Fund’, although a debut, simultaneously marks the end of an era and the beginning of a new one. It’s the point from which we start again.”
