Rising Alma are a female-fronted alternative rock outfit based in Berlin. They were founded in 2021, when singer Alīse and guitarist Máximo joined forces, with their shared love of heavy, alternative sound as the common denominator. The band quickly made their presence felt, combining raw energy, introspective lyrics and powerful melodies. That same year, they made their first mark with their debut EP, “Ongoing Hope”.
Two years later, they released their full-length album “Awake”. This release is proof of their evolution, keeping their characteristic energy, but with more refined compositions and exciting orchestrations. “Awake” is an invitation to a journey through emotions and experiences, highlighting Rising Alma’s ability to write music that makes the listener think, touches them and mesmerizes them.
