Imperial Age present today the brand-new music video for “Gnosis”, with a worldwide premiere at 7 p.m. (UK). This is a milestone release: their first video as a UK‑based band, the first with the new line-up and the first in four years.
The clip was created by Loki Films, the team behind videos for Sleep Token, Lorna Shore and Slaughter to Prevail, and was shot at a historic location in England. The production was funded entirely by the fans, showing once again the strength of the community that supports the band.
Bloodstock 2026 – The biggest moment of their new era
Along with “Gnosis”, Imperial Age announced that they will appear on the main stage of Bloodstock 2026, alongside names such as Lamb Of God, Slaughter To Prevail and Judas Priest. A huge confirmation for a band that started from the absolute margins and now stands firmly on the international metal map.

Who are Imperial Age – A story of persistence and survival
The founders Jane Odintsova and Aor started the band in Russia, at a time when chasing an international career from there was almost impossible. At home they were criticized for singing in English, while in the West they were treated as outsiders. Without a label, without management, without booking agents, without a single “door” open.
And yet, with a DIY mentality and a devoted fanbase, they managed:
- to play more than 200 shows across Europe & Britain
- to release two albums that sold tens of thousands of copies
- to gather 100,000+ viewers for the online show Live New World with choir & orchestra
In 2022, after publicly condemning the war, they were forced to leave Russia. A year of uncertainty in Turkey followed, until Arts Council England recognized them as “Exceptional Talent”, giving them the ability to settle in the United Kingdom.
The new era: new lineup, new base, new sound
After moving to Northamptonshire, Imperial Age:
- put together a new line-up with top British musicians (and one Italian)
- opened their own fulfillment office in London
- completed their biggest European tour
- booked major appearances for 2026, such as Arena Grand Paris & the Bloodstock main stage
Now freed from survival and uncertainty, Jane and Aor began experimenting with a darker and heavier sound.
The first sample of this new creative phase is “Gnosis”.
“Gnosis” – Their heaviest and darkest track to date
For the first time, Imperial Age incorporate:
- extreme vocals
- breakdowns
- very low tunings
- high speeds
The result is a track that steps onto new ground, without losing the band’s identity.
