Social Scream, a band that has already built five albums and a steady course in Greek heavy metal, return with Setup To Transformation, an album divided into two chapters, with a concept around human evolution, inner transformation and psychological struggle.
The sound is clearly Social Scream: heavy metal with intensity, groove, technique and a dark atmosphere. The album moves between explosive riffs, hypnotic transitions and rhythms that build a continuous tension. Every track seems calculated, yet at the same time leaves room for chaos — that trait that makes the band stand out.
The production is solid and clean, recorded by Dimitris Sakkas at Dimon’s Creative Studio in Athens and with additional vocal recordings in Sparta by Louis Vlachakis at Think Recording Studio. The music and lyrics are by Vlasis Diamantakos, who continues to build the personal world of Social Scream with consistency and identity.
Setup To Transformation is heavy metal that isn’t afraid to become dark, technical, psychological and intense. It’s an invitation for all metalheads who want to enter a world where evolution isn’t just a word — it’s a process.
