How do thrash, hardcore and punk sound when they meet the Cypriot dialect, dark humour and… the bouzouki? The answer goes by the name Zivanished. The Cypriot trio return with their new EP “100% Pure Cypriot Villos”, a release that distils the whole philosophy of the band: extreme music, unaffected humour and absolute loyalty to its Cypriot roots.
The sound of Zivanished is an explosive blend of thrash metal, hardcore and punk, enriched with Greek and Middle Eastern influences, aggressive riffs, occasional bouzouki touches and vocals exclusively in the Cypriot dialect. The result is a completely recognisable character balancing musical weight with a self‑deprecating mood.
On May 29, 2026, the band released the new EP “100% Pure Cypriot Villos”, continuing to explore the limits of “Cypriot Metal”. Among the tracks is “Ο Βίλλος μου εν μιάλος”, one of their most distinctive and experimental compositions. The accompanying videoclip got an immediate response, surpassing 14,000 views on YouTube within the first two months.
