The first taste
«One Last Walk» was released on September 25 and is the first song of their new era. Four years after their fourth full-length album, the band breaks its silence with changes in the line-up: vocals came in, the strings moved into a leading role and the synths filled the space.
Their sound now moves heavier than the cinematic post rock of their previous work. The cinematic element turned into something darker and the post rock passages gave way to more metal ways of playing, without melody and lyricism being lost.
In the new song the lyrics are delivered in Greek:
Look at us. You saw that we still hold on? For how long? For as long as it takes.
The drums were recorded at Mix studio in Thessaloniki by Fotis Demertzis and the vocals at the city’s Stone studio by Stratos Athanasiou. The mixing and mastering were handled by Ilias Kakanis, while the cover was designed by Theodora Parigoritsa.
