Nile count over thirty years of activity and remain one of the strongest names in technical death metal. At the heart of the band are founder and guitarist Karl Sanders together with drummer George Kollias, and on that core a sound is built with incredible technique, storming speed and themes drawn from Ancient Egypt. With Zach Jeter and Adam Roethlisberger in the line-up, the band continues as a four-piece live act, with its own triple vocal attack completing the picture.
Their tenth album came out on Napalm Records under the title «The Underworld Awaits Us All» and entered high on the international charts: first place in Canada’s Billboard Hard Music Albums, second in the USA’s Billboard Current Hard Music Albums, fifth in the UK Rock & Metal Charts and first in France’s Metal Charts.
The night is opened by two Greek extreme metal acts, Sickening Horror and Part Of The Theory, who warm up the crowd before Nile take the stage.
