Accidental Death Benefit – Despair | Metal Territory

Accidental Death Benefit come from Bratsk, an industrial city in eastern Siberia on the banks of the Angara, and they play brutal death metal with grindcore. Their new single “Despair” was released independently on September 18, along with a visualizer.

The band formed in 2014 in Bratsk, in the Irkutsk region, and has been operating from the start without a label, with their sound based on dense riffs, heavy drums and extreme vocals. The lineup is Dmitry Zelenkin on vocals, Maxim Panin and Artur Sakhakyan on guitars, Valery Rukosuev on bass and Maxim Zagibalov on drums.
Standing out in their discography are “The Crown Of Creation Of Nature” from 2017, “Big Brother Won’t Forsake You” from 2022, “Essence Of Evil / White World” and the 2024 compilation “Maxima”. Before “Despair” came the single “Sincerity In Hatred”.
The recording, mixing and mastering of “Despair” were handled by Maksim, while the visualizer was presented through Slam Worldwide. The track is available on Bandcamp, Spotify and Apple Music.
To wrap up
Twelve years after forming, Accidental Death Benefit continue independently and show that the scene of eastern Siberia has a voice that reaches far beyond the borders of its region.
